You make choices in your life everyday… where to go, what to eat, who to hang out with. But when it comes to questions about your health, you may not always know what your choices are.

You may not know who to turn to when you have questions like…

  • Where can I go for a school, sports, work or camp physical?
  • Why don't I fit in?
  • Who can I talk to confidentially?
  • Why do I feel sad or angry?
  • Who can answer my health related questions?
  • How do I cope with pressure?

The Lakewood Hospital Teen Health Center can provide teens ages 12 to 19 with answers to the common questions many young adults have today. The staff understands the needs of teens and can provide a comfortable place to receive a variety of services.

For more information, call 216.391.TEEN (8336) or email us at teentalk@lkwh.org

What else do I need to know about the Teen Health Center?

  • We respect you.
  • We have experience working with teenagers and won't judge you.
  • We've heard it all, so you don't need to hesitate or be embarrassed about any topic.
  • We work within your schedule. Our office hours are in line with your school, after-school job and social schedules.
  • Our services are affordable. Our fees are reasonable and we will work with you to arrange payment. In fact, office visits are covered by most health insurance plans. In the instance that you do not have health insurance, the cost can sometimes be covered through outside funds our organization receives. In either case, your money situation will not affect your ability to see us when you need help, so please give us a call if you have a concern.
  • You can access our services on your own. With consent from a parent or guardian, teenagers can access all health care services without a parent or guardian present.
