To feel more comfortable about your childbirth or adoption experience, we encourage you to be as educated as possible before and after the arrival of your little one. Therefore, we have partnered with Fairview Hospital Childbirth Education to offer a variety of classes to help you and your partner understand how the birthing process works and how to care for your baby once he or she arrives.
Tours of Lakewood Hospital Birthing Center
Learn about the personalized care a smaller Center offers, including water-birth. Tours are offered the first and third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Groups meet in the Belle Avenue lobby. Reservations are required. Call 440.356.0347 for dates and to register. Free. Bring your parking ticket to the tour for stamping.
Birth eClass
Online Childbirth & Parenting Classes
For moms who are on bed rest or parents whose schedule cannot accommodate traditional classes, we are pleased to offer a Birth eClass. The eClass offers simple, easy-to-use, self-paced classes with engaging videos, animation, quizzes, and fun activities that will help you and your partner become educated on what to expect during childbirth.
