A Gift from the Heart

 

Mary Lou Ferbert, artist and author, recently published some of her most private and beloved works in a new book entitled Book of Hearts. This self-published collection consists of highly personal Valentines that Mary Lou painted over a period of twenty-five years as gifts for her family.

All proceeds from Book of Hearts are benefiting the Lakewood Hospital Rehabilitation Program, an institution that the Ferberts consider a treasured asset in the community.

 

The funds from the book will used to purchase new equipment that will keep the hospital’s Rehabilitation Program on the cutting-edge.

Mary Lou Ferbert will hold several book signing events: 

  • Friday, March 20, 1 p.m., Rocky River Senior Center, Rocky River, www.rrcity.com/upevent
  • Thursday, March 26, 7 p.m., Rae-Ann Suburban, Westlake
  • Tuesday, May 5, 7 p.m., Lakewood Library, main auditorium, Lakewood
