We enjoy a rich history and experience level in the organization with the average tenure of our nursing staff being 12 years. This level of expertise in an organization allows for sharing of best practices in nursing, spurring evidence-based research and continued professional growth.

The Department of Nursing’s mission is accomplished when:
§ A trusting nurse/patient relationship based on mutually set outcomes, shared decision making with input and support from the client’s significant other (support system) is developed.
§ A compassionate multidisciplinary approach to patient care with effective symptomatic management is delivered from the beginning through the end of life.
