SeniorCare Services and enhancing community partnerships are major components of our strategic plan, Vision for Tomorrow. Lakewood Hospital is pleased to join forces with the Alzheimer’s Association and COX Communications to present a touching HBO documentary called The Alzheimer’s Project on Tuesday, May 12 at 6 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Take the time to learn the FAST warning signs for a stroke. What is a stroke? A stroke or "brain attack" occurs when a blood clot blocks an artery or a blood vessel breaks, therefore, interrupting blood flow to an area in the brain. When the brain no longer receives this blood, brain cells begin to die and brain damage begins to occur.
