
Lakewood Hospital is pleased to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association and Cox Communications in conjunction with HBO®, to offer a special viewing of the upcoming documentary series “The Alzheimer’s Project” on Tuesday, May 12 at 6 pm in the Lakewood Hospital Wasmer Auditorium. After the viewing, an expert panel will be on hand to answer questions on the affects of Alzheimer’s.
The Alzheimer’s Project features a four-part documentary series bringing many of the nation’s leading Alzheimer’s researchers and their cutting-edge science directly to the American people. It’s a compelling story of scientific discovery, research advances and challenges and of the human faces behind the disease.

The panel will consist of three local experts to answer questions about Alzheimer’s Disease: Lakewood Hospital SeniorCare Assessment Center’s Babak Tousi, MD, board-certified in geriatrics and movement disorders and Christine Nelson, APRN, clinical nurse specialist in geriatrics; and Executive Director of the Cleveland Area Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, Nancy Udelson.
