As part of our Vision for Tomorrow strategic plan, Orthopaedic Services has been identified as one of our Centers of Excellence. Renovation is soon to begin on our Orthopaedic Unit, which is scheduled to open early this summer, and will be one of the first of many changes within the hospital.

Lakewood Hospital’s Orthopaedic program offers a full-range of services to patients – from total joint replacements to minimally invasive procedures and everything in between. Once construction is complete, the new unit will feature private, family centered patient rooms enhanced with an expert team of orthopaedic surgeons and nurses, state-of-the-art equipment as well as physical therapy.
