Welcome to the Lakewood Hospital Foundation

Compassionate. Dedicated. A Community Legacy.

Lakewood Hospital Foundation establishes and maintains relationships that generate philanthropic support to enhance Lakewood Hospital's ability as a community hospital to fulfill its mission.

The Foundation, founded in 1956, provides a direct link to the west shore community’s need for compassionate health care by supporting the enhancement of Lakewood Hospital’s programs and services.  Protecting the community’s good health has been Lakewood Hospital’s primary concern since 1907. The Foundation serves as a bridge between a caring community and a hospital that requires an innovative approach to fund raising and philanthropic activities.  The Foundation aspires to touch lives in ways that are positive and meaningful.  By focusing on the health and wellness of the community, Lakewood Hospital Foundation is steadfast in its path to success and uses its mission, vision and values as guides while striving to accomplish its goals.

Lakewood Hospital Foundation provides many avenues for giving and takes special care to acknowledge, recognize and demonstrate its appreciation for its donors.

Lakewood Hospital Foundation is proud to partner with the hospital in supporting Vision for Tomorrow with a $5 million leadership gift.

"We hope support of this magnitude conveys to others how strongly the Foundation trustees believe that this is a necessary step in securing the future provision of healthcare services to meet the health and wellness needs of the West Shore community members," notes Brian King, past president, Lakewood Hospital Foundation.

Additionally, the Lakewood Hospital Medical Staff has pledged their support with a $500,000 gift.

For the Child Care Center’s Inaugural Homecoming Event-

“Come Play With Us!”

Saturday, September 18th

Noon-4

Lakewood Hospital’s Child Care Center

In addition to bringing together families and friends, we will be raising much needed funds for the Center’s Project: Playground.  As you may know, The Child Care Center’s playground has endured nearly 20 years of little ones’ steps and stomps and ups and downs and as a result, is in need of updating and repair.  Funds raised from the event will be utilized for the reconstruction of a new, state of the art playground for the children served at the Center.

Our children are our only hope for the future, but we are their only hope for their present and their future.--Zig Ziglar

We sincerely hope you will support this event and brighten the lives the many children that we serve.  If we can offer additional information, please contact the Child Care Center at 216.229.5437.
