Ways to Give

Endowed Named Funds
Your gift to Lakewood Hospital Foundation can be permanently recognized when you establish an endowed named fund.

Life Income Gifts
Through a special gift arrangement, life income gifts allow donors to provide significant resources for Lakewood Hospital Foundation while also enjoying the benefits of an increased return on their investment and lifetime income. Life income vehicles include: charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust and pooled income fund.

Charitable Bequests
One of the simplest and most popular ways of supporting Lakewood Hospital Foundation is through a bequest in a will, or through the designation of the Foundation as a beneficiary of all or a portion of an IRA, Keogh, 401(k), 403(b), or other qualified pension plan.

Charitable Lead Trusts
Through a charitable lead trust, the Foundation can receive the income stream from an asset held in trust for a specified term of years.

The Graber Society
Individuals who have included Lakewood Hospital in their estate plans, created an endowed named fund, or who have made provisions for the institution through a life income gift are recognized for their lifetime as members of The Graber Society.

Mary Lou Febert's Book of Hearts Minimize

Book of Hearts is a book about life, about passion, about spirit. Book of Hearts has a beauty that will engage any who take a quiet moment to look. Mary Lou Ferbert's book is a collection of highly personal Valentines painted over a period of 25 years as gifts for her family. They evolved over time into a vehicle for Mary Lou to record and pass along pieces of family history, honoring people and events that have a special place in her heart. The poignancy of Book of Hearts is universal. All proceeds from the sale will generously benefit the Rehabilitation Program at Lakewood Hospital, a gift from Mary Lou and Fred Ferbert. To learn more, please visit Mary Lou Ferbert's website.
